Sunny Web Shops was started by Kip Shaw of Edenton, NC. After many years in the fields of typesetting and book design, in the mid-90s Kip was entranced by the Web, believing it to be the most revolutionary development in the history of communications - even more so than Gutenberg and his moveable type.
Kip left the print media world behind, and embraced the web, climbing the learning curve necessary to master this fascinating new medium. He's glad he did.
Working on successful ecommerce ventures while living in the village of Cooperstown, NY, gave him the freedom to design and build a home for his family on 12 lovely acres in Cherry Valley, NY.
After several years in Cherry Valley, Kip and his wife Robin decided to move with their two young children to eastern North Carolina, where they settled in Edenton - a lovely town on the Albemarle Sound.
Kip has developed a design esthetic that employs a simple, no-hassle approach to getting a website launched - on time and on budget. He is always gratified when a website he has built helps someone reach out and be successful.
